COMPANY
Impala Terminals Group facilitates the global trade of commodities by offering producers and consumers reliable and efficient access to international markets. Through its network of 30 strategically located assets and operations in 20 countries, Impala provides critical storage and logistics infrastructure services to energy and dry bulk customers around the world. The company manages two global businesses – Impala Energy Infrastructure and Impala Dry Bulk & Logistics - and is a joint venture between one of the world’s largest commodity trading houses, Trafigura, and the global fund manager, IFM Investors.

ITG is a Joint-Ventures between Trafigura and IFM investment fund, owning and operating various assets such as ports, terminals and multimodal logistics assets chains in export driven emerging markets for both liquid and dry cargos. It operates as well several assets (owned by Trafigura) under a management service.

Main Purpose:Controller and FP&A for Central America (5 countries: Guatemala, Honduras, Belize, El Salvador, Panama) with multiple Liquid terminals handling import and storage of oil products. Responsible for the reliability P&L (Profit and Loss Statement), with a strong focus on the preparation of the annual budget, financial projections, and the follow-up of the execution of costs and CAPEX. Also leads all stages of planning and evaluation of the budget cycle. Keeps track of the outcomes of the organization's annual, quarterly, and monthly accounting closing activities to gauge progress towards financial goals.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Drive financial performance analysis and reporting for the Centam region, relating to regional management and global finance functions, provide insight and recommendation to management

- Lead Budget and forecasting cycles with various business areas at regional/global level.

- Cash Flow analysis and forecast, follow-up of balance sheet evolution

- H statistics and financial data quality in reporting systems, Actuals, Budget, 5 years plan

- Construct corporate reports and presentations (monthly business reviews, business performance analysis, margin by segment, cost variances and CAPEX evolution)

- Report financial statistics: volume, GM, margin drivers, headcount.

- Follow-up on all financial matters (i.e treasury, invoicing processes, DoA, Audit, Taxes, statutory accounts), in relation with the shared service center

- Support ad-hoc projects (system implementation, operational improvements, etc.)

Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting-Finance, Business Administration or relevant experience

- At least 5 years’ experience in the financial, controlling and accounting field

- Exposure to a multinational environment

- Knowledge of ERPs and financial reporting systems (Hyperion, Essbase or similar)

- Experience with business Budget / Forecast, performance analysis, cost control and CAPEX

- Advanced Excel and Power-Point skills

- Knowledge of IFRS (Preferable)

- English Proficient

- Project financial analysis and monitoring

- Preparation and presentation of management reports

1. Internal: Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Commercial, HR, local managers and end users. LATAM FP&A Manager, MVD SSC team AP, AR, Accounting.

2. External: External auditors.
