Main PurposeLead 2nd level of TMS Support for the Global region. Following up all the support tickets from the terminals in the region. Process, supervise and resolve support request, incidents and defects under established SLAs throughout the World. Identify the patterns for recurring incidents and their root causes. Analyze severity of issues and raise where required to Level 3 support teams. Trigger change requests and coordinate required teams for any ticket’s lifecycle.
For Instrumentation, Lead The Standards For Industrial And Automation Equipment That Is Coordinated With TMS. Help To Tackle Any Issue Related To The Following Equipment
Loading and Unloading areas (e.g. Presets, Meters, surge protection, and others)
Automatic Tank Gauging
Weigh scales
Additive systems
Pumps
Safety loading devices
Entry / Exit systems
Driver and operator interphase equipment
SCADA

The company manages two global businesses – Impala Energy Infrastructure and Impala Dry Bulk & Logistics - and is a joint venture between one of the world’s largest commodity trading houses, Trafigura, and the global fund manager, IFM Investors.
ITG is a Joint-Ventures between Trafigura and IFM investment fund, owning and operating various assets such as ports, terminals and multimodal logistics assets chains in export driven emerging markets for both liquid and dry cargos. It operates as well several assets (owned by Trafigura) under a management service.
The position will involve but is not limited to: responsibility:
Diagnose and resolve day to day technical TMS issues.
Help to diagnose and resolve day to day technical equipment integration issues with terminal personnel.
Raise IT issues to IT Infrastructure Management / vendor where necessary.
Ability to generate Standards for integrating equipment.
Raise site master information to assure all equipment is tracked and supervised for appropriate communication and configuration.
Responsible for assuring accurate utilization of TMS in all terminals.
Provide remote support to users in other regions when issues are raised as P1.
Adhere and actively work to maintaining global TMS IT standards.
Provide effective basic user training and Key user inductions,
Liaise with IT groups for any patching for TMS servers.
Supervise and perform health checks to TMS application and equipment for all terminals on a periodic basis.
Reporting faults and maintaining records on server and site outages.
Submit weekly reports to Impala TMS Support Team for highlighted issues affecting any terminal within the region.
Prepare documents, meeting materials and correspondence.
Perform basic administrative support duties as the need arises to meet specific operational objectives.
Assist with weekend on call support as and when required or as assigned by Impala TMS Team
Work extra hours to meet deadlines, as the need arises and where reasonable.
Provide assistance as required to the Regional IT Infra teams leading the TMS Infrastructure
Ensure that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all Stakeholders and TMS sites
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience:
2+ plus years’ experience in providing End User IT Support, Automation and Industrial equipment.
2+ experience in liquid bulk terminals
Ability To Demonstrate The Following
Good communication and customer service skills across all levels of an organization. Demonstrable ability to provide support to end users, while also collaborating effectively with IT staff at all levels.
Demonstrable ability to work independently and exercise deep technical and business judgment in critical Automation support functions within Operations and Terminal environments.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen curiosity and interest in Industrial equipment and Terminal Operations practices.
Driven to provide outstanding support. Proven a true ownership mentality to service and problem resolution.
Ability to be on-call on a scheduled basis; or as sometimes-required work long hours to resolve TMS issues at any given terminal.
Be able to travel at very short notice to all countries where there are active TMS operations.
Skills, Competencies And Qualifications For L2 Support
Strong knowledge of Win 10 & 11 and Active Directory.
ITIL, ITSM or other Service Delivery management
Knowledge of Oil and Gas terminal operations.
Solid understanding of Oil/Downstream platforms would be advantageous.
Solid understanding of networking routers, firewalls, switches such as Cisco, Citrix, VPN, and Link optimization appliances.
Solid understanding of Automation processes
Strong written and spoken English essential [Other languages (Spanish, French and Portuguese) advantageous]
Effective communicator with different types of audiences: internal team, vendors and terminal staff
Can Adapt and cope with changing environments.
Ability and understanding of project management.
Skills, Competencies And Qualifications For Instrumentation
Strong Functional Electrical experience
Strong working knowledge of Oil and Gas terminal operations.
Solid grasp of SCADA.
Proficient in writing technical reviews of equipment.
Capacity to instruct and explain complex technical aspects to maintenance and other support staff.
Generate expertise in integrating Industrial equipment and understanding communication protocols.
Solid grasp of Automation processes
